MISSION
As a Japanese student majoring in a foreign language I always felt that there are not many opportunities to gain international experience, except for a year of study abroad in 4 years of Bachelor degree.
Furthermore, with the Corona pandemic no foreign students could enter Japan anymore and Japanese students could no longer study abroad. This led to the loss of motivation to learn the languages for both parties.
We want to motivate people again to find joy in learning languages by connecting them through this platform.
That is why Japan Gate was launched with the mission of not only connecting Europeans interested in Japan with Japanese interested in Europe through regular sessions, but also creating debate opportunities and the chance to find language exchange partners.
